Bear Canyon's Story

My name is Bear Canyon. Strange name I know, but if I had my way, my name would be Happy Pants cause I am the happiest, coolest, most handsome doggie this side of the Canyon! I am approximately 4-5 years old.

Soooo...a little about me. My prior owner left me in a park for someone else to find because she was unable to keep me anymore. I ended up at Animal Control where I was passed over for months and ended up on their euthanasia list. At the final hour some Angels from Gwinnett Humane Society saved me! Am I not the luckiest doggie ever?

After meeting me, I showed my foster how fabulous I am with other dogs and how gentle and calm I am with humans. I dont have any bad habits I can think of. I dont smoke or drink and I gave up gambling a few years ago. But I do LOVE, LOVE, LOVE playing fetch, so get ready for lots of exercise; yep, that means you too. Ha Ha! By the way, you are going to have to have a big fenced yard for me because I need a lot of exercise every day to keep me healthy and happy! I do know some basic commands too, but I will need some leash training cause I like to tug.

Im hoping my new owner will really want to commit to spending quality time with me and to spending the rest of our days together, or at least the rest of mine, cause Im worth it!

If you would like more information about me, please contact us and maybe we can set up a playdate real soon. Dont forget to bring your runners, Ill have the ball!

Our Mission
For many people kitten season means cuddly adoptable kittens. But for rescue organizations it can mean a never ending list of expenses. Not all kittens that end up in GHS foster homes are healthy.
