Meet Bear <br/><br/>Handsome Bear is a Wheaten Terrier mix who has been waiting patiently for his forever family for over 2 years. Now about 5 years old, he originally came to us when his owner could no longer care for him. Since then, Bear has learned a lot, but he’s still searching for that very special home.<br/><br/>? A little about Bear:<br/><br/>Big, strong boy at ~65 lbs<br/><br/>Needs a secure fenced-in yard (no leash walks for this guy!)<br/><br/>Must be in a cat-free home<br/><br/>Has separation anxiety, so he’d thrive with someone home most of the time<br/><br/>Loves being close to his person and will be your loyal shadow ?<br/><br/>Bear will need patience, structure, and a slow introduction to help him adjust and succeed. We know his unicorn home is out there, and until then, he’s safe, happy, and loved with us. ?<br/><br/>Our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. <br/><br/>Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. <br/><br/>Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England.
