Meet Bear A Sweet, Shy Soul Ready for His Second Chance

Hi, I’m Bear — a 2 to 3-year-old, 16-pound pup with a tender heart and a quiet spirit.

I was rescued by The Sato Project from a devastating hoarding situation in Manatí, Puerto Rico, where I lived in a small, overcrowded home with over 30 other dogs. It was a scary, uncertain place — but now I’m safe, healing, and learning what love truly feels like.

When I was first rescued, my skin was in very bad shape, but I’ve been receiving medical baths and special care, and I’m getting better every day. I may still be a little shy, but I’m also incredibly sweet, and with the right family, I know I’ll continue to bloom.

I’m flying into Morristown, NJ around November 8th, and I’m dreaming of a loving, patient home that will give me the time and kindness I need to come out of my shell.
