Bear's Story

Meet Bear
5-year-old Pit Bull

Bear is a handsome, well-mannered guy who's looking for a fresh start after being surrendered due to a lifestyle change. His previous owner shared that Bear has lived with other dogs, cats, and children. More recently, he had some issues with another dog in the home, so we recommend a meet-and-greet with any potential canine siblings to make sure it's a good match.

Here at the shelter, Bear has been a total gentleman. Staff report that he shows no interest in other dogs, is easy to leash, and walks nicely. He enjoys scratches, tolerates handling well, and loves positive attention. Bear already knows some basics too-he can sit and shake, especially if there's praise involved!

Bear would do best in a home that's ready to give him consistency, patience, and lots of love. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate companion with a solid foundation, Bear might just be your perfect match.
