Bear's Story

Meet Bear — the gentle little cub with a heart full of love!

Bear may be young (4.5 months) but he’s already mastered the art of being sweet, soulful, and just a tiny bit unsure about this big, exciting world. He can be a little shy at first, but once he realizes he’s safe, his tail starts wagging and his true personality shines through.

This precious pup is wonderful with kids, friendly with other dogs, and even does well with cats — basically, Bear thinks everyone might be a potential friend. He loves to play, especially with another pup by his side, and would thrive in a home with kids and a canine sibling to help show him the ropes.

Bear is fully vetted and already rocking his crate training and housebreaking skills like a champ. With a little patience, a lot of love, and a cozy spot to nap, this sweet boy is going to grow into the most loyal best friend.

If you’re looking for a gentle soul to grow up alongside your family, Bear just might be your perfect match.

• Neutered
• Microchipped
• Fully vaccinated
• Flea & parasite free
• Dewormed

Approved applications are required to adopt. Two Black Dogs Foundation's Adoption Policy
All adopters MUST fill out an application. We do not respond to inquiries submitted through PetFinder. If you have questions about a specific animal feel free to email us, or send us a message on Facebook. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. If you are approved to adopt a member of our team will contact you. Meet and greets are set up by appointment only after you’ve been approved. In most cases you are allowed to take your new pet home after your meet and greet, unless the animal is too young to be spayed/neutered, in which case you will sign up to foster-to-adopt. We do not hold animals so please do not apply or set up a meet and greet unless you are ready to leave with your new pet. Any vetting done at your own vet clinic will be at your own expense. Spay/neuter included in adoption fee must be done by one of our local partner vet clinics, and adopter is responsible for arranging transportation. All animals adopted through TBDF are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and parasite free and up to date on their preventions. All cats and kittens are FiV/FeLV tested, all dogs over 6 months of age are heartworm tested and treated if positive.
