Still a young guy, Bear is part of a smart, task‑oriented working breed that thrives with structure, discipline, and continued training. While his prior owners were told he was a purebred GSD, we think there’s a little something extra in his mix—whatever it is, it only adds to his charm.<br/><br/>Bear was surrendered to our rescue due to his energy (which is typical with this breed and his young age). We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.<br/><br/>All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. <br/><br/>We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess.
