Bear's Story

Bear is a very handsome German Shepherd Dog mix. He is 9 months old and weighs 65 pounds so he will be a large dog when full grown. Bear is a friendly and outgoing dog, doesn't appear to have had much training but they are such smart dogs he should pick it up very quickly. Shepherds are very intelligent and need mental and physical exercise every day. When they get bored they will find something to do if they aren't given a task. That will likely be something you don't like, such as tearing the siding off your house. Previous Shepherd experience preferred. Bear is up to date on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm disease and his adoption fee includes a voucher for the mandatory neuter and microchip. Bear and his brother were surrendered when they scaled a 6 foot fence and got into mischief. Adopters should either have a taller fence or be committed to leash walking.
