Bear's Story

Bear is a 5.5 Month old, 30 lb cattle dog. Bear came from Texas along with his 5 litter mates.

Bear is friendly with other dogs, but shy, and needs time to warm up to them. Bigger dogs intimidate him. He is friendly with people, but he has not been around young children.

Bear likes car rides. He rides really well, being calm and comfortable during the ride. He likes playing in the yard with his toys. Loves to fetch… He likes being wherever you are! He still dislikes urban environment noises. Scared and needs time to adjust to new environments. He is still very wary of larger dogs, but warms up to smaller dogs well.

Bear hasn't lived with kids, cats, or livestock.

Bear is neutered, microchipped and has received age-appropriate core vaccines. Bear is being fostered in Bremerton Washington, and the adoption fee is $440. If you're interested in meeting Bear, please fill out an adoption application on our website: pnwcdr.org/adopt

Please note: We do not do DNA testing on our foster dogs.
