Bear's Story

Bear is a 11 mos old, 58 lbs, retriever mix who was relinquished to an overcrowded shelter when his human family fell apart. Raised with kids, cats and other dogs, Bear is shy meeting new people (barks) and has had no training. Once he knows you, he is a big goofy puppy with a soft, curly, cuddly coat! Bear LOVES other dogs and is looking for a confident, playful, canine sibling to play with and learn from. He will thrive with a person/people with the patience to teach him manners and boundaries so he can grow into his best self. To meet Bear, apply at mountainpetrescue.org
