Meet Bear!

Hi I’m Little Bear,

I hail from Alabama and now I’m in Wisconsin looking for my furever home. I’m a 1 year old 11# chihuahua mix and will be your best friend ….eventually! If you can give me a week or two to get used to you, we will become best friends.

What that means is during this time don’t touch me,don’t try to pet me, you just leave me alone while I get comfortable. I likely will follow you around, and as cute as I am and as tempting as it will be, just go about your business and pretend I am not there.

I like dogs and cats, but I don’t like kids.

If you can’t commit to this getting to know phase , we have lots of other dogs needing to be rescued .

If you can commit to giving me some space in the beginning I will give you back love 10-FOLD !

Little bear is available for adoption through Ma Paws & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $325

All Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue dogs are in homes with foster families; we do not have a shelter where dogs are available for daily viewing.

Our process is as follows:
1. Review our policies and adoption radius on our website: http://mapawsmepetrescue.com/adopt/
2. Submit an application for review and approval;
3. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;
4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);
5. If there is a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees (payable via check or cash).

Dogs from Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Age appropriate vaccinations
- Heartworm test (for dogs over 6mo) and treatment if positive
- Microchip
- Deworming
- Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
- Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian
