Bear's Story

Bear is a very sweet medium sized Shepard mix puppy. She is about 35 lbs and probably won't grow much bigger, if at all.

Bear came from a home that had around 12 other dogs (of both sexes and sizes) when the owner passed. She is non reactive to other dogs. When another dog is bigger or too rambunctious in play she is submissive.

Bear has lovingly accepted the much smaller and younger foster puppies in the house. She plays with them gently and even let's them sleep on top of her.

Bear is new to leashes and probably lived her life outside. She walks ok but would do better with consistency.

Bear loves giving kisses. She's a friendly smart girl that would benefit from a household that is active and would challenge her by training and enriching her life with play and treats.

Bear is piddie pad trained and will go outside if allowed to run free in the yard. I haven't been able to housetrain her due to my own pack constraints but believe she would learn quickly.

I believe Bear would be fine with children as I've tugged on her ears, messed with her feet, messed with her mouth, pulled her fur and she has not reacted to any of it. She just wants to be loved, given belly rubs, and allowed to give you kisses.

Bear is crate trained, spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on her shots.
