Bear's Story

Meet Bear, a 3 month-old, 21 pound male Border Collie/German Shepherd mix love bug! Playful and fearless, he loves his humans and will gladly greet everyone he meets. Bear loves to explore, play with his puppy siblings (please see Ben and Melanie's separate profiles), and is perfectly content to entertain himself with a toy. His one beautiful blue eye and one brown eye make him extra special. Bear is one spectacular pup!

This is a courtesy post, so if you are interested in learning more about Bear and his litter mates, please email us at jacksdoghaven23@gmail.com so we can put you in touch directly with their foster.

Throughout the meet and greet questions are asked and potential adopters are able to meet the dogs they are interested in. After the application is approved, meet and greet goes well a home inspection needs to be passed. Once all steps are appropriately completed, the potential adopter will be approved to adopt and an adoption contract will need to be filled out and signed. The last step is scheduling a time for the adopters to pick up their new family member and all documents pertaining to the dog will be released.
