Bear's Story

Meet Bear!
Bear is a resilient, loving, and playful pup who has come a long way in a short time. After surviving abuse and losing one of his front legs, Bear has made a full recovery and embraced his new life with three legs like a champ. He’s now ready to find a forever family who will love him as much as he loves everyone he meets!

Bear is potty trained, knows his basic commands, and gets along wonderfully with all people and dogs. He would thrive in a home with another playful dog buddy, as he absolutely adores playtime and companionship. Bear is also looking for someone who will help him stay healthy by keeping his weight in check, which is especially important as a tripod.

This sweet, goofy boy has no aggressive tendencies and is full of affection and fun. He’s about 1 year old, weighs around 45 pounds, and is the perfect mix of cuddly and active.

A home check is required, and we’re committed to Bear for life — if things ever don’t work out, we’ll take him back with open arms.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to a brave, beautiful soul, Bear is ready to meet you!

If you are interested in adopting Bear, please contact Desiree Shaver at
510-575-5086
