BEAR's Story

Meet Bear, a 6-year-old gentleman who recently came to us as an owner surrender. While his past may have changed unexpectedly, Bear hasn't let it dull his kind spirit. He's a sweet, well-mannered dog who's ready to find a new place to call home.

Bear still loves to play and enjoys spending time with the people around him. He's tested well with two dogs here at the shelter and has shown that he can make good canine friends.

One thing everyone notices about Bear is how gentle he is with our volunteers--young and old alike. He has a calm, friendly nature and seems to understand that kindness goes a long way. He also walks wonderfully on a leash, making him a great companion for relaxed strolls and daily outings.

Bear's Ideal Home:
A loving family or individual who's ready to give this deserving boy a fresh start.
