Meet Bear! <br/>4 year old lab mix 63lbs<br/><br/>My name is Bear… but my foster mom called me Bear Bear.<br/><br/>My life didn’t start out easy. I lived outside, chained up. One day my family moved away and left me to fend for myself. A kind lady tried to help, but I had a large tumor that needed surgery and lots of care. That’s when my foster mom and Carmen’s Rescue stepped in to save me.<br/><br/>I had my tumor removed (it was non cancerous!) and had spent the last three months healing, learning what love feels like, and finally living the life I deserve. <br/><br/>Now? I’m thriving.<br/><br/> I LOVE other dogs — I live with big dogs and small (even older!) dogs.<br/> I’m wonderful with people and soak up attention.<br/> I’m gentle — my foster human siblings (there are 4!) help feed me and take me out.<br/> I walk nicely on leash and I’ve become a great car rider!<br/> I’m okay in a crate, but I’d much rather be near my people. I do best in a gated room where I can still feel included.<br/> I may bark sometimes, but I listen well when I’m told to stop.<br/><br/>I love being outside — especially if my people are out there with me.
