Bear's Story

Bear is a calm older male who has life left to live. Bear was found as a stray, is good with other dogs, walks well on a leash. We did bloodwork and a urinalysis and this boy is healthy, so he is freshly neutered! Bear has a gorgeous coat and chill personality. He can be a but growly, so we are recommending a home without small children. He is taking gabapentin daily as he appears a bit arthritic, but he gets around fine, and he sees and hears perfectly when you have a treat in your hand (his hearing is actually poor overall). He loves hanging out with you inside, preferring shorter walks and doesn't care for cold weather. He is good for car rides and loves trips to the pet store to pick a toy! Oh, and he loves his bones and scratches from his favorite people. He is about 45 pounds. He is fostering just east of San Francisco. He can be grumpy with vets, but is better around those not poking and prodding medically.
