Beans's Story

Beans was transferred in from a local veterinarian office recently. She was surrendered by her owner after emergency surgery. Beans had an accident which required a partial amputation of her foot. Sadly, she was kept as an outdoor dog and is not the most socialized, although very sweet. Beans will thrive with a patient, compassionate adopter. She was also heartworm positive on arrival, which is not unusual for dogs kept outdoors. Fortunately, she will be treated here at our expense. In the meantime, Beans can go home with a new family as a foster to adopt. Because she is new to us, we are unsure how she would do with another dog, so a meet and greet would be best. Come and meet Beans 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. She is spayed, microchipped and current on core vaccines.
