Beanie (Pretty Girl)'s Story
Friends to the Forlorn
Adopt-a-BullName: Beanie (Pretty Girl)
Approximate DOB: 6/10/24
Breed: Terrier Mix
Location: Canton, Ga

ABOUT BEANIE
Beanie, aka Pretty Girl, came from a hoarding situation where 14 dogs were living in one room. Thankfully, we were able to get many of the dogs into foster homes, including Beanie. Unfortunately, we found she had been attacked by some of the other dogs and had significant bite marks to both her front legs and her back. While everything healed beautifully, she does still carry some scarring. She came to us very nervous and needed some time to recover. Her legs took 3 weeks to heal and at that point it was game on! Since then, her personality has come out and she is doing great.

Beanie is mostly housebroken and is crate-trained. She does great with routines, so a home where she can have structure is ideal. Beanie is good with other dogs and kids but has not been around cats. She is a smart girl who is very treat motivated with a high desire to please. She knows quite a few commands, including "sit", "wait", "down", and "kennel-up/crate", and is learning how to do things like stay calm during grooming, getting in and out of the car, and giving space to kids. Beanie is an energetic girl who loves playing, being outside, walks, running, and playing fetch - tennis balls are her favorite!

Beanie is looking for an active family who wants to include her in all their fun. She loves to be outside and moving so a family who runs, hikes, bikes, and travels would be amazing! Dogs and kids would be a bonus for her but if she is a single dog her people need to be prepared to keep her tennis ball supply stocked and have space to play fetch!

ADOPTING BEANIE
Beanie is up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm-negative, and microchipped. She is spayed and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Her adoption fee is $300.
