Beanie is the perfect thing to keep you warm this winter! This adorable nugget is made of wiggles, and he is downright adorable with those big pointy ears. He is a silly, happy puppy at just around 10 months old, and he's looking for a fun-loving home where he can grow and be loved.<br/><br/>Beanie is energetic, goofy and curious and treats each walk like an adventure to discover new things. He also loves his toys, especially if you play with him. He can be a little bouncy when excited but is a good listener and just needs a little consistency to pick up on the routine. <br/><br/>Most of all, Beanie loves people! He is very sweet and affectionate. He likes to hop up on a bench during walks to hang out together so we can only imagine he's going to love cuddling on the couch. Beanie was also playful with other dogs he met in play group. <br/><br/>Beanie is a sweet young pup with a bright future ahead. You must schedule a meet with a dog in advance - we are not currently accepting walk-ins. Please look online first to see if there are any dogs you think would be a good fit for your home before scheduling a meet. To get the process started, visit www.tinyurl.com/meetacitydog and fill out the form. One of our adoption counselors will get in touch to schedule and confirm your meet! At the kennel, an adoption counselor will introduce you and your family to the adoptable dogs, share information we know about them, and discuss our suggested ways for successfully integrating a new dog into your home. You are welcome to meet multiple dogs. If the dog you adopt is already fixed, he or she may leave with you that day - otherwise, the dog can go home after receiving the spay or neuter surgery.)<br/><br/>About Our Dogs: All available dogs have gone through a behavioral and medical assessment. This assessment is a snapshot of who the dog is at that given time. We cannot make any guarantees with regard to behavior, temperament or health of any City Dog once they are in the home. Most of our dogs are picked up as strays, so we do not know what kind of home environment they were living in (i.e. with kids, other dogs or other cats), nor do we know if most of them are house trained. Everything we know about them is based on volunteer and staff observations. We do have some dogs in foster homes, where they will have more information about how the dog is in a home environment. It is very hard to tell with certainty whether or not a dog will be good with kids, cats or another dog. If you have kids in the home or another dog, we do require that they be present for a meet and greet with the dog you are considering for adoption.<br/><br/>Heath/Vaccinations: Dogs that are adopted directly from the kennel need to go to your personal vet within two weeks of leaving the kennel. All dogs receive their DAPPL, Rabies, and Bordatella vaccines, though you may be required to get follow up boosters. All dogs come microchipped and with a Cuyahoga County license.
