Beanie's Story
Meet Beanie Baby. A soulful girl with the biggest personality and the softest heart.

Beanie Baby is affectionate, expressive, and full of character. She’s a talker, a hugger, and a gentle smoocher, always finding ways to connect with her people. She’s treat-motivated, knows a lovely sit & stay, and is crate trained — her crate is her happy place (think: teenager + bedroom).

Beanie’s vibe:
• Loves cats and is wonderfully gentle with them
• Does well with dogs or shows indifference (proper intros always)
• Prefers older or more mature children
• May warm up to women first, but is fostered by both genders and bonds deeply
• Sweet, sensitive, and thrives with structure and understanding

Her story (the short version):
Beanie was found as a stray and landed on a shelter deadline after presenting with unexplained bone injuries. Despite extensive diagnostics down to bone biopsies, no definitive cause was found. She had damage to both a front and back leg — the front more significant. While she will always show some mild lameness, she is happy, active, and you should see her run and play with her foster dog sister — she’s shockingly fast!

*Beanie’s ideal home:
• A yard where she can safely run and stretch her legs
• Humans who are patient, loving, and appreciate her unique needs. She can be shy and vocal.
• A calm, structured environment where she can truly flourish

Beanie Baby is not a “project” — she’s a beautiful, resilient dog who has overcome so much and still greets life with joy, affection, and heart. If you’re looking for a deeply connected companion who will love you with her whole being, Beanie may be your girl.
