Bean is one smart, sweet, energetic boy who is ready for a family to call his own! Bean does well with most other dogs and has lived with children, so he has plenty of experience being part of a family. He is incredibly smart, full of energy, and loves his people. He's the kind of dog who is always ready for an adventure, a game, or some quality time with his favorite people. Bean does have one important quirk that his future family should understand. He can be protective of his home, especially when it comes to men. Because of this, his success in a new home will depend on his family being willing to manage visitors appropriately. When guests come over, Bean should be safely put away, or visitors should be introduced slowly and patiently while giving Bean plenty of time to feel comfortable. With the right structure, consistency, and understanding, Bean has so much potential to thrive.

Bean isn't looking for a perfect family, he's looking for a family willing to understand him, work with him, and appreciate all the wonderful things that make him Bean.
