Bean's Story
Meet Bean – Your Future Snuggle Buddy!

Available for Adoption through Yankee Chihuahua Rescue Posted: September 9, 2025

Bean is a 6-year-old spayed female Chihuahua weighing just 8 lbs—but don’t let her petite size fool you. This sweet girl is bursting with love and loyalty, and once she feels safe, her tail never stops wagging. Bean adores cuddling under blankets and melts for belly rubs. She’s looking for a forever home where she can truly shine.

Why Bean Is So Special:
House-trained: Bean uses pee pads and goes outdoors, making her a great fit for apartment living or homes transitioning from pads. She does have occasional accidents, so patience and consistency will be key.
Crate-trained: Bean knows her crate as her “house” and will happily go in when asked.
Great in the car: She’s a calm and quiet passenger, perfect for road trips or errands.
Kid-friendly: Bean would thrive in a home with gentle, respectful children.
Dog-social: She gets along well with other dogs, though she’s not a fan of very large ones. Her compatibility with cats is still unknown.
Bean came to Yankee Chihuahua Rescue as an owner surrender due to circumstances beyond her previous owner’s control. She’s now fully vetted—spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, has had dental care, and is heartworm negative. She’s ready to start her next chapter with someone who sees her true charm.

What Bean Needs:
A loving home that can continue using potty pads during her transition and offer patience as she adjusts.
A family who understands that building trust takes time—and is willing to let Bean blossom at her own pace.
Someone who knows that photos don’t do her justice—Bean is even cuter in person!

Ready to Adopt?
If Bean sounds like your perfect match, please fill out an application today - Application for Adoption. Be sure to review our adoption process carefully @ Serving the Six New England Stat - Bean’s adoption fee is $700.00, this is much less then her vetting costs.

Please note: We are not a shelter.
