Bea's Story

If you're looking for an affectionate companion who loves to give kisses, Bea is your girl! The one-year-old is playful and would like a fenced yard where she can enjoy zoomies and other outside activities. She would benefit from having another young dog as a playmate and she quickly makes friends with mellow dogs.

Bea is a smart cookie who is eager to learn. She is currently in enrichment classes and is learning to socialize with people and other canines. Bea is leash-trained and loves long walks. She would benefit with continued training to help her reach her full potential.

FROM BEA'S FOSTER: Earning Bea's trust took some time, but once I've gained it she has become a very loving, happy and loyal companion. Same goes true with her dog friends -- she becomes her playful self when she sees them on the trail or in the neighborhood. Bea is housetrained and uses a doggie door. She likes sleeping in a crate at night and taking daytime naps. Bea isn't a nuisance barker, but will alert you when someone is at the door.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/

When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in.
