Baylie is a very sweet girl and loves to play with other dogs that match her energy level. She is housetrained to a dog door and crates easily, she is not currently crated in her foster home though. She's a very fairly quiet dog and only barks at things that are startling. She walks very well on a leash and is very trainable with little effort. She loves toys and plays well with dogs and toys. She does not like to share treats or food though. She was an adoption return due to her lack of chicken safety. She does okay with cats, but would do better with confident cats because she does like to chase. Friends of Madera Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
We require an application to be filled out for any animal you are interested in. If your application is approved, we will do a meet and greet with the animal. If you are adopting a dog and have another dog in your home, we ask that you bring the dog with you so that we can do a safe introduction to see whether or not they will do well with each other in a neutral location. If everything goes smoothly, the adoption fees will be paid and you can head home with the animal that same day.
