This handsome poodle mix is approx 3 years and 40 lbs
He was found laying in a ditch unable to move and taken to the local city shelter
His x rays showed that his Sacrum had separated from his Lumbar Spine, he also had a bullet in him, but they did not feel that it was affecting his ability to walk,
our orthopedic surgeon said it was an injury that was unable to be repaired
We started him on some physical therapy and after a few days he was able to stand up and while his back legs remained crossed he was able to hop
Around the yard
We started him on a rehab program with the gulf coast physical therapy / sports rehab and after a few weekly sessions he is able to run around the yard like the other dogs , he has started to walk just like the other dogs as well and you would never know he was injured at one time
he will go out to the yar
