Baxter's Story
Baxter is a 3 year old, 19 lb male Chihuahua mix.

Baxter is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to his new home after adoption.

Hey there, I'm Baxter, the B man! I'm young, fun and as you can see, I am all ears! I'm not a puppy, but I had a very rough start in life, so I am kind of getting a second chance at being a puppy and enjoying myself. I LOVE being around other dogs, I'm very used to it, so I would definitely love to have a friendly dog or two to pal around with. My foster family brought home another tiny puppy, and he and I are two peas in a pod! I will say that I prefer my new family to be on the female side, since I'm kind of scared of men - I have grown used to my foster dad but I adore my foster mom! I love to cuddle and snuggle up to my foster mom, I'm a pretty affectionate little guy. I like toys and running around the yard. My leash manners are getting better too. I'm potty trained, so no worries there. So if you're looking for a small guy, and you're willing to be a little patient, I hope you will give me a chance. My story started out sad, but I'm ready to leave that in the past and just want a family of my own at last!

Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada.

Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $500 adoption donation includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation fees.

If interested in learning more, please email us at faithandhopeadoptions@gmail.com or fill out our online application.

https://www.faithandhopefoundation.org/adoptionapp

If interested in learning more about our adoptable pets, the adoption process, or our home based foster program, please contact us at the above email.

Due to the number of requests that we receive on our adoptable pets, please be advised that all adoption applications are processed in the order received.
