Hi, I'm Baxter! Life didn't start out easy for me. I came from a pretty unsanitary situation before Atlanta Humane rescued me and showed me what kindness feels like. I'm still learning how to be a dog and trust people, but underneath my cautious side is a heart that's so ready to love. Once I feel safe, you'll see how sweet and affectionate I can be! I'm most confident when I have another dog buddy around. They help me learn and remind me that the world isn't such a scary place. I'd do best with a patient family who understands that I just need a little time to settle in. In return, I promise to give you all the love I've been saving up. I can't wait to run, play, and just enjoy being a happy dog, especially with another canine friend by my side! I qualify for Welcome Trial. ...
