He’s everything you’d hope for in a beagle — social, playful, curious, and happiest when he’s exploring the world with his nose or curled up next to someone he trusts.<br/><br/>Personality & Temperament<br/>Baxter loves:<br/>• People (he adores human attention)<br/>• Other dogs<br/>• Walks, playtime, and sniffing absolutely everything<br/>• Cuddling and being near his person<br/>• Mental stimulation and activity<br/>He has a wonderful temperament — friendly, outgoing, and eager to socialize. The only challenge we’ve seen is some understandable separation anxiety after losing his owner, but he remains gentle, cooperative, and happy to go on adventures with trusted humans and dog friends.<br/><br/>Background<br/>Baxter had a tough start in life and was abandoned twice before finding a caring owner who gave him the structure, exercise, training, and affection beagles thrive on.
