Baxter's Story
Baxter was stray for several days or longer in a neighborhood in Arkansas. A caring human took him in and another helped him out with a ride to our rescue in Tulsa. Baxter is likely 6 to 8 years old. He is incredibly sweet, playful and loves to have a yard to run in. He'd be a great walking buddy. He still needs to gain a few pounds and his coat is stained from flea dermatitis, but that will all clear up and he'll be a handsome guy. We think Baxter would do ok as an only dog or with a female dog of similar size. He's not a huge fan of young, rowdy dogs.
