Basil is fun and energetic. She loves to run, play in the water, play with toys and be active. Basil would love a home where there is lots of activity. She is very smart and loves to please her person. On one adventure, we took her to the local basketball indoor stadium. She experienced using the elevator, traversing steep stairs and dealing the the mascot for the team. She handled everything very well and kept looking to her handler for reassurance. Once she received it, she was happy as could. <br/>Basil loves people, but small children make her nervous. She would prefer older, dog savvy-children. <br/>Basil is still learning how to interact with other dogs and is a very high intensity pup who sometimes comes off a bit strong to other dogs.
