Meet Bartholomew!!!<br/><br/><br/>He is a strikingly handsome 2-year-old boy with a warm heart and an irresistible charm. He came to us from another shelter, so parts of his past are a mystery, but what we've seen so far has been nothing short of endearing. Bartholomew is an affectionate pup who loves nudging in for pets and will often bury his head in your lap or gently tuck himself under your arm for extra comfort.<br/><br/><br/>This food-motivated sweetheart is currently perfecting his "sit" and enjoys learning new things, especially when treats are involved. When he met another dog here at the shelter, Bartholomew was more focused on exploring the yard, so we're still getting to know his canine preferences. With a slow and mindful introduction, we believe he could do well with a dog friend. As with all adoptions, we recommend all family members meet him so everyone can get to know his personality.<br/><br/><br/>Bartholomew is also quite the athlete-he can jump surprisingly high-so adopters should be prepared to supervise him outdoors or have a plan in place to keep him safely contained. With a mix of affection, curiosity, and athleticism, Bartholomew has all the makings of a wonderful companion.
