BART o's Story
Meet BART!
Meet an adorable 4.5 yr old mini goldendoodle.
Sadly, Bart spent his first few years crated as a puppy mill stud with very limited contact with humans. But all that has changed and Bart's on his way to happily discovering the world!
This sweet boy will be a wonderful addition to a special home. He LOVES to be near his humans and to be petted and even tho he is quite timid initially, he will push forward for More More More. Ideally someone who works from home or a retired person committed to being attentive to him would be the perfect match.
Bart is newly housebroken, but is accepting of a doggie diaper for your transition. He was recently neutered on Dec 4th. He also gets carsick - hopefully he will get over this with time as his confidence grows or he may require medication for any lengthy rides.
He walks enthusiastically on a leash and loves his walks and romps in the securely fenced yard with his stuffies.
Being kept solely as breeding stock for the first part of his life does mean Bart might do well with a well adjusted doggie mentor.
Bart is still learning how to be a dog, and live indoors in a loving home.
He'll be fine in a single or multi-person household with kids. He has been exposed to a one year old without incident but he was nervous, so children over 8 would be best. The more people that love him, the faster he’ll learn. Adopters with a house will need a secure fenced in yard. As with any Doodle breed, regular trips to the groomer will be needed.
Bart isn’t used to car rides and can get car sick but he is getting better.
To be the lucky person who gets Bart into their forever home. Please submit an application to apply to adopt him.
https://form.jotform.com/220475254186154
