Bart's Story

Bart is a dreamy Hound mix with an approximate DOB of January 2024. He and his sister were found abandoned at the dog park. Why? There is no reasonable
explanation. His sister was adopted, and now Bart is ready for his Home Sweet Home.
Bart was previously in boarding, where he romped with his canine friends in daycare every day. Guess what he’s doing now that he’s at the shelter? Yep! Romping and swimming with his friends every day. And Bart has a lot of friends! He has a lot of fans, as well. Shelter volunteers know that he’s such a good boy. He makes us laugh every day.
If you’re looking for a social dog, ready for the dog park, Bart is in the car, eager to go! He is a handsome, goofy, charming, pool-loving companion. Once he’s had time to play, Bart is happy to cuddle up and watch TV. He will require another canine companion in his forever home. Because of his size, Bart needs a family without small children. There isn’t a mean bone in his body, yet in his zest for life, he could accidentally knock down the little ones (and then shower them with kisses). Give yourself the gift of unconditional love. Meet Bart and you’ll find him practically perfect and doggone irresistible.

If you are interested in adopting Bart, please submit this application:
https://www.parkvilleshelter.com/adoption-application

FOPAS is primarily run by volunteers who are passionate about animal welfare and are dedicated to our animals for their entire lives.
