Right now, he may bark, growl, or raise his hackles when unsure, so compatibility with cats is still being assessed. He's making progress with patient introductions, but these interactions need careful supervision.

He's also working on feeling comfortable in his kennel and being apart from his people. He can settle initially but sometimes becomes distressed overnight, so his adopter should be ready to help him through this with patience and gradual training.

Like any puppy, Bear has a mischievous side! He enjoys chewing and needs appropriate outlets. Plush toys are for supervised play only, since he tends to shred and swallow the stuffing.

Bear would thrive with someone who loves a sweet, goofy companion and is willing to keep helping him learn. A confident, playful dog friend could be a wonderful match for him. This affectionate boy has so much love to give and is ready to find his forever person!
