Meet Barry

Sweet Barry originally ended up at a southern shelter as a young puppy on 1/16/2015 and was quickly adopted. Barry was returned to the shelter on 7/7/21, a complete mess. Heavy heartworm positive, lots of hair loss and had lived his life on a chain. The shelter quickly got busy making Barry healthy again. He has been treated for heartworm and is now negative! His fur is back and it is known that he has some allergies. He has been on a fish and rice diet and has had no issues since. This boy at 8 is ready for the good life. He loves people and attention. He wants to be a lap dog. He is good with other dogs and is patient. Barry would do best in a quieter home with older children.
