Hi, my name is Barrett! Don’t let my initial looks fool you, despite looking older, I am only 18 months old. I was rescued from a rural KY shelter in a horrific condition. My nails were so long I could barely walk, I was terrified of people, and had little fur. Thankfully I was pulled by a rescue and went to an amazing foster home who rehabbed my looks and my mental state. I am good with other dogs and even cats! I am still learning how not to be super scared of quick sudden movement, so older kids would be best for me right now. I am a social guy and love affection. I am house trained and crate trained. I am still crated when left alone because I tend to snack on tissues and paper. I am such a good, sweet boy! I am currently being fostered in Pittsburgh but can be transported by volunteers to my new home! I hope to meet you soon!
