Whoa, take a look at this gorgeous little man. His flowing bicolor locks, goofy little underbite, and soulful eyes are sure to capture many a hearts. This is Barney. Barney is a 2 year old, 9 pound dachshund and he is ready to find his forever home. Barney has many charming qualities including being a kisser, a lap dog wanna be and a sideline cheerleader for his doggie pals. He loves to be outside running around and likes to be a part of a pack; it would be great if his new home had some friends, although he prefers to eat separately. Barney also likes being around his people and would like to become an official lap dog once he learns that he is welcome on said lap and he discovers how cozy it can be. He seems to be fine around respectful children, he ignores the cats and he is doing well in the crate. Barney needs to work on his house manners and although not leash trained, he will most likely be fine once it’s been worked on.
