Barney

Barney was a stray found standing on the double yellow line on a 55mph highway. Thankfully a wonderful lady stopped traffic and got him safe. <br/>This so is so so affectionate. He’s got a couple health challenges right now that we’re working on, most importantly , getting his kidneys back working right. He’s on special food and meds for those. We’re hoping the Lyme disease was a big cause of that and with the long period of doxi and his other meds, we’re hoping for improvement . The other thing is, he’s blind in his left eye? I don’t think he can see very well out of either of them but he learns a room and does well, and even more of a miracle he somehow made it as a stray . A friend had actually seen him in the road about a month prior to his actual rescue, but when I went out, I couldn’t find him. <br/>This boy is the sweetest thing, loves to sleep up against you . He’s a big love bug. Good with the other dogs. Loves car rides and is housebroken and crate trained.
