Barnaby's Story

Let us introduce you to adorable Barnaby. This little guy, all 7 lbs of him, is a sweet senior who is looking for a human who he can be near as much as possible.

Barnaby loves little squeaky stuffies and will hoard them in his dog bed if allowed. A little play time is fun but really, he just wants to hang out as close his person as possible. He's happy to go on car rides but not a fan of a crate. Doesn't mind outside time (during the warmer months) but would rather be carried than walk.

Working on potty training, Barnaby is not a fan of the snow so he is looking for a patient family willing to work with him.

If his person gets too far away, he will "talk" to let you know he is unhappy, so Barnaby is really hoping for a family home more often than not. Could that be you?

Interested in adopting this dog? Visit our website (http://www.SecondCityCanineRescue.org) to fill out an application and to find out where this dog may be shown this weekend.

We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dog’s individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog.

Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don’t know their background. We encourage you to base your decision on individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on our guess.

Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near the Chicagoland area.
