Barnabas's Story

Little Barney is a great balance of independence and following his leader. Sometimes it's the big dogs, sometimes it's his favorite humans but he always seems to be trampling behind someone. His expressive bark lets you know that he is excited and ready to play. He loves a good snuggle and then to find his own place to get some shut eye. Then after a bit he gets lonely and comes back for more.

He is a helper, even though he is not sure how to involve himself in every activity and he loves the outdoors. This smart little guy is very food motivated and should be fun to train to do all the things. While he has not ventured out on hikes yet, his boundless energy and adventurous spirit will no doubt make him a great mountain bounding companion.
