Barkley - B litter

Meet Barkley: Barkley is about a 10 month old (as of January 2026) hound / heeler mix (best guess) that weighs about 45 pounds. This cute B litter (Barkley, Bodie, Bridget, Bonnie, Bebe and Buffy) was rescued as strays in Arkansas. They were found roaming outside with their mom when a nice rescuer brought them to her home. They were living outside with shelter available and are safe, fed, and loved, but now they are inside a foster home in PA. Barkley is being fostered in the York, PA area and would love to meet his forever family!<br/><br/>Barkley can be timid and cautious with strangers- it takes him time to warm up but once he does, he's very social and loves cuddles. Barkley is a goofy guy when it's playtime, but when it's time to learn, he is very focused and looks to his foster mom for guidance and direction. He is super smart and eager to please, and already knows many commands/tricks! <br/><br/>Barkley is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He's great in the car and loves the outdoors whether he's exploring or just laying in the sun. We would love for Barkley to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely. He would do best in a home where his owner is home with him most of the time. Barkley is up to date on his puppy shots and neutered.
