Meet Miss Barbie! <br/><br/>Barbie’s story is one of someone wanting the very best for a dog they could no longer provide for. Barbie came to us after her previous owner, who was experiencing homelessness, made the difficult decision that she could no longer care for her and wanted Barbie to have the opportunity for a better life. <br/><br/>At approximately 3 years old, Barbie is a smart, energetic girl who is ready to find someone who can help her reach her full potential. We aren’t completely sure what her breed mix is, but we suspect she may have some Shepherd and Hound in her — and she certainly has the brains, energy and personality to match! <br/><br/>Barbie loves going for walks, although she’s still working on her leash manners and can pull when she gets excited. She’s a girl who will benefit from continued training, structure and plenty of opportunities to use her busy brain.<br/><br/>When it comes to other animals, Barbie can be picky about her canine friends, so slow and careful introductions will be important. We are also unsure how she will do with cats.<br/><br/>Barbie is looking for a home with someone who has dog experience and is ready to put in the time and patience to help her become the best version of herself.
