Southern Star Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Our organization does its best to match up the perfect pet for you and your family. Sometimes the adoption just may not work for different reasons, so our agreement states that if you do not wish to keep the pet for any reason, you must bring it back to us, and if it is within the 3 day trial period, you will be refunded your adoption fee. We do not have a specific location where all animals are housed, so we can only take in as many as we have foster homes for. Animals are not kept in cages, and live in a home environment, where they can be evaluated and socialized. Shown by appointment only, 7 days a week. We have adoption events at the Menifee Kahoots on Sundays 12:30 - 3:30.

Our Mission

All of the dogs that we take into our care are vet checked and treated according to their needs. All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, current on vaccines and flea treated if necessary.
