Banjo II's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Banjo came to us from an owner who was unfortunately losing his home. We are sorry for the gentleman and his situation, but very glad we are able to provide some much-needed medical care for Banjo. We are so happy to share that he does NOT have heart issues as we initially suspected! His cough was instead due to a collapsed trachea and is so much better than when he arrived. Banjo has settled in nicely in his foster home! He's a good boy and his foster mom allows him to sleep in bed with her or on the couch. She thinks he is very smart and taught him to shake hands in about 20 minutes! He does rest a lot but he also really enjoys his walks, typical beagle with nose to the ground smelling everything! Banjo can be a bit excited when first meeting another dog, but we think he would do best in a home with a dog or a cat as a buddy and he prefers not to be left alone for very long. As far as his medical care, of course being a senior he will have some issues down the road. For the time being. Being his blood work looks good but we will be bringing him back for some booster vaccinations and recheck at the end of December. Banjo could go on sleepover anytime!
