Banjo's Story

Meet Banjo!

Banjo's journey started when he wandered up to a ranch outside San Antonio, scared, unsure, and not quite ready to trust anyone. With time, patience, and guidance from our trainers, this brave boy has come out of his shell — and today he's a loving, social pup who forms strong bonds with the people who show him affection and kindness.

Banjo is a 2–3-year-old Cattle Dog mix, fully grown at 34.5 lbs. True to his breed mix, he's a high-energy, playful dog who will thrive in a home with a yard to run, explore, and burn off energy. He loves dog toys, enjoys learning, and has been doing great with potty training and house manners (with human guidance). He's also improving with crate training and benefits from structure and routine.

Banjo does well with other active dogs around his size or would be just as happy as an only dog with an owner who can give him attention and activity. Because of his background and big feelings toward "his person," Banjo will be best suited for an experienced dog owner who understands sensitive, working-breed personalities and wants a loyal best friend by their side. He loves going places with you and being part of whatever you're doing.

If you're looking for a devoted adventure buddy with a big heart and a brave spirit, Banjo is ready to meet you. 🐾

Banjo is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
