Banjo's Story

Banjo is gentle, playful, and curious with lots of love to give! He is a friendly, affectionate, and smart puppy who gets along with other dogs and cats. He loves to play, explore, and receive pets and belly rubs from his human friends. He is athletic and would make a great companion for walks and runs. Banjo loves playing ball and being outside but is also working on his award for “best snuggler”. He loves to cuddle up on the couch and watch tv with you. He is a well-rounded puppy with a lot of potential and is eager to find a forever home where he can learn and grow more. As far as looks, puppies don't get much handsomer than this one! This sweet guy is about 8 months old and we are guessing a cattle dog mix of some kind. Banjo, we think will be a perfect medium size dog. He is also crate trained, walks well on a leash and knows sit.

Banjo joins us from a small country town in Texas where him and his litter brother were strays, living at a homeless camp in 100-degree weather, eating whatever trash was available and drinking stagnant puddles to survive. Despite his difficult start, Banjo is well adjusted with so much love to give!
