Banjo's Story

Banjo needs placement. We have her boarding, but that is not a permanent solution. She can't stay there. It's not good for her well being and it costs us money daily.

Banjo is around 4-5 years old and around 40 pounds. She is the cutest little pocket pitty. She loves her people, but she isn't great with other pets. She also doesn't like being left alone for a long time and doesn't like the kennel. She needs to be an only pet with a human that can take her along or is home a lot. She has been fine with meeting kids, but she probably would do best in a home without small kids.
She LOVES toys and wants to get the squeaker out immediately! She is such a loving dog and very adored by the people who have had the opportunity to love her.

Banjo is spayed and up to date on shots. She is also microchipped.

Banjo was at the Grain Valley pound. Picked up as a stray, with no history. She had a wonderful foster home step up for her. After waiting over a year, she was adopted out and VERY loved by her adopter. Unfortunately his life changed and due to circumstances beyond his control, he could not keep her. The foster home took her back as long as she could, but due to going off to College, she also could not keep her. Now Banjo resides in boarding, which is not ideal, but we hope it buys us enough time to find her a home. ??

Banjo's adoption fee is $0 with an approved application. You must be able to afford to care for a dog properly!

Applications are on our website fofanimalrescue.org
