Banjo's Story

Meet Banjo!

Banjo came to the shelter with his best friend Dolly, who he is very bonded with. They rely on one another for comfort and confidence, and would prefer to find a home where they can continue their journey together.

Banjo is believed to be a sheepdog mix and is estimated to be around 1 year old. Despite his young age, he appears to be house trained and walks well on a leash. Banjo is sweet, gentle, and affectionate, with a soft, kind personality that shines once he feels comfortable. He enjoys attention and stays close to his people, often taking cues from Dolly.

Banjo and Dolly arrived as strays from the Kings Highway area in Douglas, but sadly no owner ever came forward. While we don’t know much about Banjo’s past, it’s clear that he is a loving, loyal boy with so much potential. We will continue to share updates as we learn more about him.

After a much needed groom, Banjo and Dolly were neutered and spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and are ready to find their forever home together!

If these two loveable pups interest you, feel free to inquire directly through PetFinder, or you can call or stop by the Bisbee Animal Shelter. We're open 7 days a week from 10am to 2pm, and our phone number is 520-432-6020.
