Meet Bane
We don’t know whether or not Bane was born in the darkness, but unlike his namesake, Bane is ready to be the hero of your world!
Bane was brought to the Allegan Shelter as a lost dog on 12/16/23. The team was excited to discover he not only was microchipped, but that his microchip was registered! We were sure he was going to get to go home quickly, but sadly that was not the case. Since he was already neutered/microchipped, at the shelter he has been tested for heartworm and brought up to date on vaccinations and prevention. Now Bane is searching for a new home! Bane is almost two years old.
With his shiny black coat and soulful brown eyes, Bane is a standout in any crowd. Plus, with his muscular build, he's sure to turn heads wherever he goes. But don't be intimidated by his tough exterior - inside, Bane is just a big softie who wants nothing more than to love and be loved. This big goofball is friendly with new people and a smartiepants, too! He already knows how to sit, lay down, and shake (with both paws!) Bane is eager to learn and will do almost anything for a soft Milkbone treat. He is sure to be the best friend of the person who takes him home and gets him out of the shelter. Good looking, friendly, and smart? What more could you ask for!
Bane could potentially join a home that includes other dogs and/or children. He gets along with other dogs, but isn't a fan of big "alpha male" types. If there's another dog in the home, we'll schedule a meet and greet to ensure they're a good match. We think kids 10 and older would be his best fit. does need to be the only pet in the home, but could join a home with kids. . We think kids 10 and up would be Bane’s best fit since he’s a big, playful boy.
We are eager to find a home for Bane because shelter life is getting to our sweet friend after several months. Please consider adopting or fostering this good boy!
