Bane 6755's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This handsome fella is Bane. Bane is a fairly typical GSD in most ways. He is very smart, eager to please and very loyal. Bane bonds quickly to his people and is a typical Velcro shepherd. Bane does very well with the other 3 resident dogs and with all other dogs he has met since arriving in foster care. Bane walks nicely on a leash and loves going for walks (his motto and theme song is, "I will follow you, wherever you may go..."). He often goes with us to farmers markets, wineries, breweries, Home Depot, etc., and has always done very well everywhere we have taken him (including the vet's office). Because Bane bonds hard to his people, he can have some anxiety when you leave him, although he does okay when we've left him out with the other dogs. Bane loves his people so much, he can develop some protectiveness of his people on his property. Thus, Bane would do best with an adopter that is experienced and a strong leader. He will need careful introductions with visitors including lots positive reinforcement to learn visitors are friendly and safe. If you are an approved adopter with breed experience and interested in learning more about Bane, you can contact his foster mom at emily@hartman1.com.
